Instead of investing time on an extensive technical audit, Menerva Digital conducted a quick technical audit which revealed 7 major issues that were slowing the site’s technical performance. With quick wins that could be easily implemented, the technical fixes propelled faster results.

Two years before Menerva Digital was onboarded, Tasktop underwent a substantial migration that resulted in several SEO mishaps and substantial missed opportunities. Critical items that needed to be cleaned up included redirecting dated URLs, resurrecting high-performing content, optimizing crawl budget, and more.

Menerva Digital conducted an extensive analysis of what Tasktop’s target audience searches for online. This fundamental data collection process was done by reviewing the current website, analyzing top competitors, getting client feedback, and using keyword discovery tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Keyword Planner, and more. Keywords were categorized by topic and whether they were relevant or broadly relevant. The keyword research report helped prioritize where to focus optimization efforts.

In addition to technical auditing and keyword research, Menerva Digital audited and optimized metadata across Tasktop’s site. This helped resolve duplicate content issues in a timely manner, enabling Tasktop to experience faster organic results. Later, Meverva’s content experts revisited pages to optimize on-page copy.

The SEO team identified opportunities to further grow organic visibility by optimizing Tasktop’s YouTube videos. Positive outcomes were achieved by crafting keyword-relevant and attention-grabbing titles, writing 200-300-word, SEO-friendly descriptions, including relevant links within description copy, and adding tags for target keywords.

From the content gap analysis, the SEO team assembled strategic content suggestions and detailed content briefs. Content briefs are created by analyzing insights mentioned in Google’s answer box, the current top-ranking organic placements, auto-complete long-tail keyword variations, and ChatGPT by OpenAI for ideas.

Menerva Digital leveraged automated reports to monitor performance on a monthly basis. As part of ongoing reporting, the team analyzed performance and provided suggestions for continuous improvement. Reports are created within Looker Studio (Google Data Studio).
